Artist Statement:

Evan is a Fine Arts student attending his third year at Okanagan University College in Kelowna. His two main areas of study include drawing and painting while academically he has mainly focused on literature and art history. Upon finishing his teaching certificate or a Masters degree.

Evan was born and raised in Lumby, attending both Whitevale Elementary and Charles Bloom Secondary School. In his final year of high school Evan received a district scholarship for his efforts in the fine arts. This award encouraged him to proceed with his schooling in the arts. In his spare time Evan enjoys a variety of activities including athletics, film and music. Evan would like to encourage the growth pf the Monashee Arts Council and hopes artists in and around Lumby luck in their endeavors.
