I first started spinning with the Kalamalka Weaver and Spinner Guild and soon I was also weaving.
I have attended many courses to extend my knowledge. I have entered various competitions of which I have been highly successful. July 1999 I entered and won the
Assoc. of North West Weaver Guilds spinning competition in Bozeman Montana at the bi-ennial
Conference. October 1999 I entered the Canadian Alpaca & Llama Assoc. fibre competition. I won and placed second with two types of specialty-spun skins. I strive for excellence in
all my products.
I enjoy spinning yarn for knitters and doing custom orders. I work with all natural fibre - cotton, linen, silk, wool and exotics such as llama, alpaca, camel etc.
I reside outside of Lumby on a 90 acre farm, I have a flock of sheep specializing in
long wool Border Leiceisters and various cross breeds.
